Dealer’s Perception
·
The NSE
All-Share Index gained 26bps today.
·
Top
tier banks were on the up-tick today, a slight pull back on offers by sellers
led to modest gains of 0.8%, 1.4% and 2.1% for GTBank, Zenith Bank and UBA. First
Bank however dropped 0.9% as
yesterday’s recovery appears to have spurred selling sentiments, closing bids
and offers were fairly matched at the close of the session
·
Dangote
Cement booked a 0.9% gain on
the back of crossed deals; buyers subsequently reviewed their prices upwards in
response to the crossed deal with closing bid at N121.25. Lafarge Wapco also closed on the up-tick picking up 0.8% while CCNN
dropped a further 2.2%.
·
In
other sectors, a clearance of available offers early in the session led to
maximum gains for Oando today, closing at limit up. NB
also picked up 1.6% as it closed at N136.20 with growing demand likely to
sustain this trend.
