Dealer’s Perception
·
The NSE All-Share Index gained 15bps today.
·
The banking sector started off the week on a quiet note; Companies
in the sector were skewed to the sell side with the exception of UBN and UBA that
recorded appreciation of 8.2% and 1.8% respectively on the back of growing
demand that could lead to further gains tomorrow.
·
NB was
on the up-tick today crossing over the N140.01 mark and picking up 1.4%, Guinness also recovered from last week‘s
bearish sentiment though with very slim appreciation, closing demand however
outweighed offers and should provide support at the current level..
·
In the In the building materials sector, Ashaka Cement closed on the up-tick as it
picked up 3.7%, CCNN however went south with a 3.5%
loss though bids and offers were fairly matched. Dangote Cement and Lafarge
Wapco were flat
recording no change at the close of the session.
